Theodore SassoHaving accrued more than five decades of executive level leadership within the realm of real estate, Theodore P. Sasso, Jr. has honorably led various Fortune 500 companies and has conducted work on behalf of large corporations worldwide. Specializing in commercial real estate service, he has flourished as the president of Sasso Realty, as well as the executive vice president of Knight Properties, LLC since 2008. With commercial property, he arranges the financing through institutional lending or industrial developing agencies and, as a real estate brokerage, he works on behalf of both the owner and clients seeking to acquire or divest ofreal estate. Backed by studies in business administration from Hofstra University, Mr. Sasso attributes his success to his parents. He believes that recognizing a work in progress in any endeavor is important, no matter its size or societal perception.

Prior to his current posts, Mr. Sasso excelled as president of Renaissance Realty Services LLC and senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis, as well as Insignis/ESG. He had also been the executive vice president for the Edward S. Gordon Company of Long Island LLC and for Sasso & Fitzsimons Inc., along with president of Jobco Realty and Equity and vice president of Cushman & Wakefield of Long Island Inc. In the earlier years of his career, Mr. Sasso was director of real estate for Macmillan Inc., manager of worldwide real estate for CBS Inc. and a leasing agent for Rockefeller Center Inc. He had also served in real estate roles with the U.S. Trust Company of New York, the Charles F. Noyes Company and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Notably, Mr. Sasso has found great success in his career trajectory, including induction into the Long Island Business Development Council Hall of Fame. Notably, he was the recipient of the Life Enrichment Award from the Arthritis Foundation, Man of the Year Award from Project Pride and Honorary Award from the Education Center for Prostate Cancer. At the local level, Mr. Sasso took home the Spirit of Long Island Award from the Long Island Business Development Council and NYIT/Long Island Business News Executive Focus Award, as well as Nassau County and Town of Hempstead Citations. Likewise, he accepted the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Unit Citation Award and a Boy Scouts Theodore Roosevelt Council Award. In five years’ time, Mr. Sasso hopes to continue doing what he is currently doing and be remembered as a renowned real estate professional and community leader.
